Our main website, www.wegolf.com has a new feature…
If you click on the Courses(beta) tab, you will be able to search for your course by typing in its name. If it is on our database, the course’s position will be displayed on the map and if it is not on our database yet, there is a tab where you could request it 🙂
Here is a map of South Africa that displays the location of every mapped course on Wegolf’s database in South Africa.

Umkomaas Golf Club in Kwa-Zulu Natal was mapped via Google Earth and therefor must still be verified as accurate. This brings the total number of courses on our SA database to 221 of which 166 (75.11%) have been physically verified.

Thanks to Kobus Coetser for first mapping Pilgrim’s Rest via Google Earth and then physically verifying the course. This brings the total number of verified courses on our SA database to 166(75.45%) out of 220 courses.

Since the last posting of our “Club 500″ on 1 August, 2010 (i.e. Wegolf members who accessed the Wegolf servers more than 500 times) we have one new entry… Leon. This list is just for fun to see who are the lucky ones among us that can play a lot of golf. And again, we only supply first names for the sake of privacy.  As some of us might not want people to know how much time we are spending on the golf course, right? 🙂
