Thanks to Wendell Meiring for his assistance in getting the Google Earth mapped versions of the three courses at Hermanus Golf Club verified as accurate. They are on our course list as Hermanus Blue Course, Hermanus Red Course, Hermanus Green Course.
This brings the total number of verified courses on our SA database to 191(78.28%) out of 244.

Hans Merensky Golf course in Phalaborwa, Limpopo province has been mapped via Google Earth and still has to be verified. This brings the total number of courses on our SA course list to 244 of which 189 (77.46%) have been verified.

Thanks to Peet van Rooyen for physically mapping Legend Golf & Safari Resort near Makopane in Limpopo province. This brings the total number of courses on our database to 242 of which 189 (78.10%) have been verified.
Amongst other things, Legend is well known for the extreme 19th hole with the green in the shape of Africa. We mapped the points of interest of the Extreme 19th hole as part of hole 18 with names “Extreme 19th Green” as there are only holes 1-18 available on the cell phone when mapping a course. There are some interesting facts and figures available on the web about the Extreme 19th.

Thanks to Kobus Coetser for re-mapping Witbank Golf Course via Google Earth and physically verifying the points of interest on the course. Due to his efforts, the Wegolf experience at Witbank has now been improved with the updated points of interest.
The total number of courses (241) as well as the number of verified courses (188) on our SA course list remain unchanged.

Thanks to Christo Brits for mapping Betlehem Golf Club via Google Earth. This brings the total number of courses on our SA course list to 241 of which 188(78.00%) have been verified.
For now the course was added to the list as “unverified” but Christo will be playing there in the near future to verify the Google Earth mapping.

Thanks to Kobus Coetser for mapping Pullenshope Golf Club in Mpumulanga via Google Earth and then physically verifying the readings on the course with his cell phone. This brings the total number of courses on our SA course list to 240 of which 188(78.33%) have been physically verified.
According to Kobus the current amount of members doesn’t justify the clubhouse being open every day, but if you are a group that wants to play there, the caretaker will come and open up for you and supply some nice cold beers
