One of the benefits of having hosted the Soccer World Cup is updated Google Earth images of some parts of South Africa. With this in mind, we mapped two new courses…
Sishen Golf Club and Simola Golf Estate.

Ebotse Golf Estate in Benoni, Gauteng has been physically mapped. Even though they have GPS devices on their golf carts, we had a request for the course to be mapped by Wegolf subscribers who choose to walk the course.
This brings the total number of verified courses to 151 (75.12%) out of 201 courses on our SA course list.

- Thanks to Leon Roux for informing us that we had Brits Golf Club in the Northwest on our database as Seasons Eco Golf Estate as well. We are thus removing the course, Brits Golf Club from our SA course list. So please take note that Brits Golf Club is now on the SA database as Seasons Eco Golf Estate.
- And then Afrikander Golf Club, also in the Northwest no longer exists. The mine supporting the course has stopped operating and the fairway grass now stands nearly 1 metre tall
This takes the number of verified courses on our SA database back to 149 (74.87%) out of 199 on our SA course list.

Like I said I would do, in the post of 5 July, I have physically verified Gardener Ross and it is 100% accurate. This brings the total number of verified courses on our SA database to 151 (75.12%) out of 201.
