- On Wegolf’s main menu select Courses, Download
- Now you have three choices
- Nearby courses
- This option will only be available after your phone’s GPS receiver is connected to the satellites.
- A list of all courses within 100km radius will now be displayed, sorted from closed to your current position to furthest.
- A new, fun way to look at the course around you. It surprised me which courses were actually the same distance away from me than courses I normally play on.
- Name search
- Just enter the name of the course you want to download.
- World
- Here you can use the preferred menu option at the bottom to save a country on the list that you normally download course from.
- Just select preferred, connect to the web and save your country that you want on the list permanently.
- The next time you choose Courses, Download, you will see the country displayed on the list.
- Once downloaded, the course with all its previously mapped points of interest will be on your phone permanently.

Comment by Keith Deschamps February 22, 2010 @ 11:11 amHi Keith, Meyerton is on the “mapping schedule” of a Wegolfer in that area. You can keep an eye on the blog for announcements of new courses mapped to see when it’s mapped or we will also let you know

Comment by Andre August 15, 2011 @ 7:48 amHi Andre,
Comment by Wegolf SA August 15, 2011 @ 8:46 amPlease restart Wegolf and make sure that you answer yes when prompted whether to allow Wegolf to connect to the Internet. The phone sometimes remembers a setting of “No” from a previous occasion and by restarting Wegolf and selecting Yes it should solve the problem.
